I started F+F Wellness to offer overwhelmed mamas (like myself!) quick yoga flows and meditations, easy to digest tips, and time-saving recipes. I share flexible wellness solutions to help you flow through your busy life with a sense of ease and alignment. Baby steps are the big steps towards achieving your health and wellness goals.
The idea for F+F started back when I was a new mama working in NYC. The hospitality group I worked for was pretty young and progressive. Many of my colleagues would leave to take walks or hit the gym on breaks. I remember a conversation I had with one of our CEO’s who also practiced yoga. We kept talking about how we wanted to go take a class but every freaking yoga class around was an hour to an hour and a half long. By the time you walked there, changed clothes etc you’d be gone two + hours and that was definitely not acceptable during the work day. I said to him, “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if a studio would offer a 20-30 minute express yoga class?” He responded, “Oh my god, yes! I would go every day!”. This conversion, combined with the stress I was experiencing as a new working mom and wife of a first responder, got me thinking there must be an easier, more balanced way to live my life. Once March of 2020 rolled around and Covid hit, my work in events slowed and Flex + Flow Wellness was born.
I’m a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and certified health coach with IIN. I have 20+ years of hospitality and restaurant experience and a passionate love for food as well as a desire to balance that with a healthy lifestyle. I like to feel my best. A huge part of that, for me, is enjoying everything life has to offer. No body shaming or restrictions here. I want to live my life and I want YOU to do the same.
